Hi Guys! I’ll be joining the BMC 285 group and wanted to know from you guys what is the best way to travel from Delhi (Kashmere Gate) to Uttarkaashi. Is it better to come from Dehradun or Rishikesh and also best way to take the bus from there (as in the exact bus station). Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance guys. 🙂

Hello All..We are thinking of taking of a taxi from Dehradun to Uttakarshi on 13th Sep morning so if anyone has already booked a taxi then we can join or we can take a taxi and share the cost, thanks

You can reach uttarkashi from both Dehradun and Rishikesh.
From Dehradun, you can get a bus from Dehradun Hill station busstop at 5:30 Am in the morning,
And from Rishikesh Last bus is at 12 PM.
More feasible if you catch a bus from Dehradun at 5:30 Am as the bus will reach hotel bhandari, Uttarkashi at around 11 Am.
NIM’s bus are schedule from hotel at 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 08:30 PM
You can find private/sharing taxis from both Dehradun and Rishikesh at early hours.
